Facing Cancer Together, the new chapter

Angela Epshtein, Executive Director

Welcome to the new chapter in Facing Cancer Together’s story! I’m Angela Epshtein and I am the new FCT Executive Director. I’ve spent the first month of my time at FCT in awe of the kindness, compassion, and thoughtful support our community cultivates by offering support to people with cancer and their family and friends. Through our groups, we help people with cancer and their loved ones live their fullest, most creative lives. Often when we talk about cancer we use the fight metaphor, amplifying the day-to-day struggles created by a cancer diagnosis and treatment. If cancer treatment is indeed a fight, FCT is the space where healing and creative expression supports the fight and fuels hope and meaning in daily life. Our group facilitators create a safe, welcoming space that encourages creativity, connectedness, and hope. I invite you to support our community of hope by participating in two very special events:

Throughout October, Brighton Collectibles@Burlington Mall will donate $10 to Facing Cancer Together for every Power of Pink Bracelet sold. The bracelets are a beautiful tribute to women with breast cancer. #mybrightonstyle

Kendra Scott Shop for Good from 12 noon – 5 pm on Sat., October 26th at Kendra Scott Legacy Place. 20% of all sales will be donated to Facing Cancer Together! Kendra Scott’s commitment to creating joyful, beautiful jewelry is uplifting and fun! @kendrascott
