Reiki Mind-Body Skill Workshop

Elise Brenner, Reiki Practitioner and Teacher, will introduce you to the self-practice of Reiki and its benefits for mind-body wellness for people living with cancer. Reiki is a gentle mind/body meditation and healing practice that can be accessed by everyone.  You will learn specific Reiki mind-body everyday skills that promote self-awareness, personal growth, the relaxation response, and self-care, as well as support your capacity to cope with the physical, mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges that result from an illness diagnosis.  A Reiki mind-body skills group workshop further offers the value of mutual emotional support and encouragement. Reiki practice is a non-pharmacological option that complements medical treatment and is provided in hospitals around the world as an integrative mind-body healing practice. RSVP is required.
